Nearly 60 school going kids from Gunjavane village  take benefits of Bal Sanskar Kendra here at VISMAY. They learn and play here educational and various games to gain special skills also participate in various cultural activities. They are provided Free Distribution of Books & Health Kits etc

 

Maa Sarada Dnyaneshwri (MSD)

žFriends along with the value education, we  impart academic knowledge to the underprivileged kids &  youths on the subjects like Mathematics, Science, Spoken English, Computers, Accountancy, Costing, Management Accountancy, Financial Management,etc. totally free of cost.   

žThis activity we consider as a worship of Goddess Saraswati in a true sense.

 

Self Management, Yoga & Meditation Workshop

It is one of the most important and regular activities at VISMAY Foundation. It sees participation from many multinational corporate employees from major cities and mostly Pune and Mumbai.This activity is so famous that it seems immense participation from different places in Gujarat.   Many of senior professors and students from REC Surat regularly take part in these activities. We find major participation from students from MIT College, Symbiosis College and some other Collages from  Pune. People from different background, different cultural touch, students from different streams come, devote and spend their days in different yogic and spiritual practices based workshops on the subjects like

1) Yoga for better concentration 

2) Yoga in hectic Life

 3) Yoga for Peace and Happiness

 4) Yoga & Management of Mind

5) How to develop Contributor personality through Yogic Practices. 

The participants from Urban area  also  teach village students, take their activities based classes and even arrange enjoyable singing,dancing, drawing-painting, crafts making and science workshops for kids. 

 

Wisdom On Wheels (WoW):

This is our mobile unit through which we visit nearby villages, schools and make people aware of health, hygiene and literacy etc. 

Yes, people do say “Wow !!” after looking at these exhibitions which VISMAY Foundation conducts at different public places or schools or village Grampanchayat offices. 

Never think there is anything impossible for the soul. It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin - to say that you are weak, or others are weak.

Its pictorial presentation of Swami Vivekananda's ideologies, stories from his life and his mission for youth and man- making.  It is a moving exhibition which gets conducted on need- bases by enthusiastic VISMAYians. 

A future  plan includes to setting up a  mobile van which will be fully roaming across remote places and  helping to convey Swamiji’s messages. 

Apart from pictorial exhibitions, different banners and road show and street plays are used to conduct the sessions and convey the messages. 

Otherwise during off time, these artifacts are on permanent display at VISMAY campus hall. It helps to create awareness among villagers and youths. 

žMission Man Making (MMM):

Conduction of Workshops, Retreats, Seminars are especially for youths, teachers training programmes etc. on the man making & character building ideology of Swami Vivekananda. t is one of big initiatives  of all VISMAY activities. 

 

žBal Tirtha:

Great news! We are expanding! 

We are thrilled to announce the imminent launch of our highly anticipated Seva Activity,

'Baal Tirth-Gurukul' at Nasarapur.

From June this year the Gurukul will start with intake of around 20 students. Vismay Foundation will arrange for lodging, boarding, education and overall character building of these students. 

Our focus is on nurturing the kids coming from underprivileged families, specifically targeting children of poor farmers, fort porters working at Rajgad-Torana forts, bamboo cutting labourers and single parent kids. 

We will also run our parallel school activity for poor students at Nasarapur . All these activities will be totally free of cost. Admitted students will not have to pay any money. 

Meanwhile the existing establishment at Gunjavane will continue its operations in the same impactful manner as it has for the past eleven years.
